Roseville Event: The Plant People–Annual Native Youth Art Exhibit

Visit the Maidu Museum to see the latest youth art show, The Plant People: Annual Native Youth Art Exhibit. The Plant People offer many gifts. Plants are gathered for food, homes, tools, basketry, healing, ceremonies and much more. This exhibit highlights the work of young native artists from the Foothill Indian Education Alliance, Sierra Native Alliance, United Auburn Indian Community, and local freelance artists. They Raised Us by Devaney Rain Royalty (Ponca/Cree/Tsalagi/Cherokee Deer clan) and other original art will be available for sale. Free entry for: Under age 5, Tribal Members, Military Personnel with ID, Museum Members
