Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
I was starting college, trying to figure out what to study, and began reading health books that spoke highly of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. At the time, the Internet was just beginning; I did my first web search and found there were traditional Chinese medicine schools in California. The rest is history. I got all of my prerequisites and at 21 was off to Five Branches University in Santa Cruz. I opened my first practice at 25. Never in my my wildest dreams did I imagine the success and growth over the years, but I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities afforded to me as a result. I’ve had my private practice for 13 years now.
