Whitney High SchoolTell us about yourself.
I am a die-hard swimmer, dancer and actress, and there is no place in the world I would rather be than in the water or with jazz shoes on my feet. I’m addicted to chai lattes, Harry Potter, and anything involving Walt Disney.
What accomplishment are you most proud of and why?
My junior year, I earned a spot in the highest level of dance at Whitney High School—after having no dance experience when I first started the program my freshman year.
What are your school interests and involvements?
I’ve been a member of the varsity swim team for four years, had a supporting lead role in the musical my sophomore and junior years, and have been heavily involved in the dance program all four years (performing in six dance shows).
What’s one thing that not many people know about you?
I’m horribly superstitious—I read my horoscope on the daily and I will never, ever walk under a ladder or open an umbrella indoors.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to spend four amazing years at the University of Nevada, Reno, studying speech and hearing sciences and continuing to dance and swim.
Who is your role model?
My parents are seriously the most amazing people I know. They are so dedicated to everything they do and will never stop working at something until it is accomplished. I want nothing less than to live life how they do.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I have to go to Costa Rica and zip line through a rain forest before I die.
