What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?
My first job was in the same industry as I’m in today. I started off as a spa receptionist, because it always interested me to know what goes on behind the scenes at spas. From then on, I fell in love. It’s been an amazing journey and has prepared me for where I am today.
Why is your staff the best in the business?
The diversity and knowledge that each staff member brings to the spa is what make us so unique; everyone is willing to make each person’s experience unforgettable. We, as a staff, strive to leave a “Dolce Vita Signature” on any service we provide, which is something only we can provide.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Not many people can say they leave their job more relaxed than when they came in. The atmosphere at Dolce Vita Day Spa is one you don’t want to leave. Working in an environment that is relaxed, calm and nurturing is beneficial for everyone.
Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?
My role models in life are my parents. They have been pillars of strength and inspired me to be who I am today. The morals they’ve given me have helped me become a trustworthy manager for my staff, as well as our guests.
And finally, customer service is…?
Customer service is not only meeting a customer’s needs, but also surpassing them in all aspects and making them feel they are the only one. Customer service prioritizes a motivation that comes from the heart rather than an act. This is the reason why being in the spa industry has been so rewarding for me—I have the privilege to work with those who strive to reach the same goals.
