Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
Every event in my life has been preparing me to be a life coach. My purpose is to help others move past their sorrows, forgive themselves and others, and to embrace this crazy wonderful thing we call life. We all have so much to be grateful for; every moment is a precious gift.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Despite all of the fractures and traumas in life, I have thrived through them all. When I changed my attitude about my circumstances, it went from deep sorrow to gratitude. I would not be the woman I am today had I not endured everything in my past.
Where do you go when the going gets tough?
The beach has always been a place that soothes my soul.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Having a flexible schedule allows me time to truly enjoy life.
What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?
I enjoy Paul Martin’s American Grill—their food is consistently delicious and they have a great happy hour.
Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?
Bike trails in Folsom, the Western States Trail for hiking, and the CSUS Aquatic Center for water play.
What’s your favorite local business other than your own?
Crossroads Trading Co.—I’m a big bargain shopper and I love this store.
If you could be any other profession, what would it be?
I would be a psychologist because I’ve always wanted to help people.
And finally, customer service is…?
Being completely present and listening to what my clients have to share, having a heart of compassion and truly caring about each person, and finally, giving them the tools they need to move forward.
