William Jessup University has unveiled a $17 million campus expansion that will add new athletic and classroom facilities, as well as a 19,400-square-foot dining facility with an open-style kitchen and a chef recently hired from Google. All the additions will accommodate Jessup’s growing number of students.
In August, Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic merged with the VCA Animal Hospital family, allowing the clinic to provide a larger network of specialists and equipment to better serve their client’s needs, while expanding and providing even better care for pets. The community-based general practice, founded in 1975, will continue to operate with the same hours, services and staff.

Whitney High School will host an Artisan Craft Fair on October 20 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event begins with a breakfast, and throughout the day will feature arts, crafts, food and drinks. Roseville’s Blue Line Gallery is offering numerous fall workshops for kids.
