Describe your business.

We are a growing group of 30 “soccer moms” that have decided to bring our innate domestic genius that comes from years of motherhood – rendering forthright, dependable, trustworthy beings with unsurpassed work ethic – to an industry that desperately needs us: housecleaning. Being an employed housecleaner for a company is a dead-end job in today’s world and has a stigma attached to it; however, us mothers are re-writing the terms and public perception of housecleaning because we know it’s importance in our daily lives. We’ll be the first to tell you it always makes the top of our list. We are also a profit-sharing co-op where the mom’s earn 80 percent on the dollar, with many opportunities to make commission through our growing group. We pay our mothers well for the very important job they do!

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet. I learned that there was more than one way to earn a buck.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I have afforded stay-at-home moms/soccer moms the flexibility to work while their kids are at school, yet be home when their children get home. In today’s economic climate, 30 moms have found their way to Mothers Cleaning Co-op. Our customers and mothers are receiving each other with equal gratitude, and we are so happy to have each other.

What life accomplishment are you most proud of?

Being able to give my children a private education through Town & Country Lutheran School, where they are truly “building up lives.”

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Urbano’s Mexican Restaurant.

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

A writer.

And finally, customer service is…?

All about you, our customer.

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements.
