Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
Mozie’s Adventures has offered fitness and fun for local singles over 40 for more than five years. We offer a comfortable atmosphere where you get to know other local singles at events/activities that you choose to attend. We have hiking, snowshoeing, walks, bowling, wine tasting, dinners, golf, weekend trips, parties and many other activities. We were voted “Favorite Best Kept Secret” from the Style readers, “Best Social Group” on KCRA’s A-List and “Best of Best.” We have no political or religious agenda, just like-minded singles over age 40 having fun. We are more than a group of singles – we become friends, sometimes partners, and offer several charity volunteer opportunities.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
Through charity events and staying in touch with my members weekly.
Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?
My parents, due to their incredible love for all eight of us, and their integrity.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Seeing someone hike or snowshoe for the first time, and happy couples that met in the group.
Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?
Hiking in the American River Canyon.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
Too many to list.
And finally, customer service is…?
Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Wendy Sipple at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
