Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
Upon graduating from the School of Dentistry at University of the Pacific, I planned on opening my own practice, but one day – on impulse – I stopped by to talk with one of the partnering dentists. That was in 1996, and now, 14 years later, our group has established a reputation for providing dentistry that magnifies excellence, artistry and integrity. Working with in-house specialists, we can meet all your dental needs, including emergencies, cosmetic dentistry, implants and orthodontic care.
Why is your staff the best in the business?
From the first step patients take into our practice, our caring staff greets and shows compassion towards their dental needs. Our average staff member has been with us almost 10 years, and it’s their loyalty and dedication to both the doctors and patients that makes them the “best of the best.”
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Serving seven years in the United States Air Force. This experience forever changed my life.
What’s your biggest job perk?
One could describe dentistry as a “social event” mixed with oral health care. It doesn’t get much better than that!
What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?
Cha-Cha’s Cocina Mexicana; I love the décor and food!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Besides Jesus giving the “Sermon on the Mount,” it would be my great-great-grandfather. He sailed from North Ireland to start a new life in America and unfortunately lost his youngest child to pneumonia on the voyage. I marvel at his courage and strength.
What’s your favorite local event that you go to?
Hot August Nights in Reno and Hot Chili & Cool Cars in Rocklin.
If you could be any other profession what would it be?
A college professor at Notre Dame or a mechanic working on one of Jay Leno’s Duesenbergs. I can’t decide.
And finally, customer service is…?
Treat each patient as if they were a member of your own family.
