Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
We love beautifully set dining tables. A Table to Remember is a bi-product of decorating that we’ve done for school auctions and other events. Our company is a table decorating service. People love to see a beautifully decorated table, but don’t have the time or the creativity to do it themselves. That’s where A Table to Remember comes in. We will make your table a stunning masterpiece. We decorate dinner tables for parties, events and special occasions...in a big way! We are also working on a full line of DIY table decorating kits and accessories.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
We donate our products and services to school and community-based auctions. We help the community and get publicity for our business at the same time.
Why is your staff the best in the business?
We listen to what our clients want and pay attention to the details.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Our business is very flexible. We can work while our kids are in school and at odd hours. This gives us time to spend with our families.
What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?
For a quick bite and a business meeting, we like La Bou Bakery on Douglas Boulevard. Roseville has so many good restaurants now that it’s hard to choose, but Blue Nami, McCormick & Schmick, Lorenzo’s of Loomis, and California Pizza Kitchen all come to mind.
Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?
Both of our families like to bike on one of the many local bike paths. We also like to head to the movies and see local musicals produced by El Dorado Music Theatre.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
As a teenager, Terri remembers decorating at her babysitting jobs. The kids would go to bed and she would start moving the furniture around.
What’s your favorite local business other than your own?
We actually have two. You can often find us at Triad Plus Fabrics in Roseville. They have a full spectrum of decorator fabric for the home and their back room is filled with great deals. The other place we love is Pottery World in Rocklin. That place is like eye candy; everything in the store delights the senses.
And finally, customer service is…?
Listening to the client and giving them what they need. Also, it means creating new offerings that keep clients coming back for more!
