Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
My private practice is a confidential setting for families, couples or individuals seeking therapy for issues such as: marriage counseling, relationship issues, anxiety, stress, depression, grief, anger, adolescent behavior and more. Assisting people in achieving emotional, spiritual, and physical peace has always been my passion, so it just seemed natural to become a therapist.
What was your vision when you first started your business, and what is it now?
I have an unwavering belief that each one of us has the potential to live a more vital and purposeful life, but sometimes stress, life transitions, or difficult personal relationships can get in the way. I am committed to assisting people in achieving their full potential.
What is the best part of doing business in this community?
Roseville is rich with history and is ever transforming into a vibrant, energetic community in which to experience family, life and business.
What was your first job, and what did you learn from the experience?
My first job was sorting soda bottles by brand name in a grocery store. I learned very quickly that I would much rather drink the soda and work with people!
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
I have had many rewarding opportunities to be involved through the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, Fellowship Chamber, and by working with pastors, churches and law enforcement agencies.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Being married to my best friend for 27 years, and the day I received my MFT license.
Where do you go when the going gets tough?
And finally, customer service is…?
Truly listening, supporting and equipping individuals with the tools they need to get through difficult times. Having a client leave with a new perspective or goal and renewed hope is my ultimate desire.
